The Mario Toy Company levels are pretty straightforward, so there isn't too much to say about them. This one introduces the hammer, which works exactly like in Donkey Kong '94.

A new mechanic you'll see throughout the game are the three red/yellow/blue color switches, which activates its corresponding color block tile and disables the others. Partly because of this mechanic, Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a bit heavier on the puzzles compared to DK '94's more balanced mix of action and puzzles. It's still an absolute blast to parkour around everything though.
