Plot:

Mario faces Donkey Kong's formidable strength and tries to use power-ups from Question Blocks to gain an advantage. He accidentally eats a blue mushroom, which is shrunken down by Donkey Kong. He then uses a Fire Flower, but it is snuffed out. Mario continues to get pummeled but does not give up. Princess Peach encourages Mario to hit another block with a Super Bell, turning him into Cat Mario. With his speed, agility, and claws, Mario dodges Donkey Kong's attacks and scratches him until he is defeated.
