HALLOWEEN RECIPES START ON FRIDAY :)

These are easy to whip up in a hurry and can be customized for special occasion by adding sprinkles before the chocolate sets. (Red and green for Christmas, orange and black for Halloween).

Chocolate cookie triangles:

This recipe from a 1995 December edition of Taste of Home Magazine.

20 large marshmallows (more or less depending on your pan size or on how close you want them together)
1 cup (6 oz or 175g) semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp (105 g) peanut butter
1 tbsp + 1.5 tsp (30g) butter or margarine

Line an 8x8" baking dish with foil and grease the foil
Arrange marshmallows in the dish in rows, try to leave a small gap between the marshmallows.
In a microwave safe bowl, place chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter and microwave until melted. Pour the melted mixture over the marshmallows and refrigerate until set. Cut in between the marshmallows to make squares.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve otherwise they will be soft and will leave lots of chocolate on your fingers while eating them.
