Hello all. Right on the heels of the first "Live PVP 5", I recorded this video concerning the Witchhammer. It is the new item that comes along with the gold sale currently going on for MAA. The sale has FINALLY been released and definitely at a wonderful time with a cube, AoU costumes and AoU E-ISOs being on sale.

So how is this item? Is it worth getting? Well, we all know "worth getting" is a relative term. It's free with a gold purchase. I will say this is not the best item to go gung ho for but it has some advantages. It is NOT for use on defense at all. Putting out demise and hurting your agent for a 10% chunk every turn is not good for D. Also, because you can not use this to set up the eternal agent on D, don't shoehorn this item in. Now for offense, yeah it has its benefits. Blessing of Heroes and the Asklep or the Signpost easily counter the drain. Since it is bordered, it can't be stopped but it can be countered. I would rate the need for this item to be a 3.75 out of 5 on offense and ZERO on defense. It can be used smartly on offense either as a way of phasing or causing doom to proc on a high priority target. The straining may become the best value for this item overall.
