So after playing WOW for over 10 years, I've managed to accumulate a collection of rare mounts and ones no longer available. From mounts that took me nearly 3 years to get to ones I got in less than 5 attempts, I go through my collection and some of the stories behind them.

I lack some of the more easily available mounts like the Onxyia drake and many of the Cataclysm ones but I only tend to farm when the GF is farming them too. I definitely put some time into many of these mounts like Anzu and the Direhorns. Some came about from on again, off again attempts while others I just stumbled into. Nothing like zoning into Deepholm at 3:30 AM and getting a new, rare mount 10 minutes later. There's still a few out there I'd really like to get my hands on but I'm actually fairly content with my collection.
