Marvel Avengers Alliance-The end of the Agent Venom season---or is it?
5So this video was going to be a little snippet of what the end of the Agent Venom PVP season was like. It shows the offensive and defensive groups I was using at the end of the season. My main offensive team was Sabertooth and Uncanny Cyclops. I the SoA, custom only for killing and the power cell+void generator. Saber ran the stacking attack power eISO and Uncanny Cyke had nothing at the time. Defense was mostly Omega Sent with Heimdall but I toyed briefly with Heimdall plus bruiser Grey Hulk but it didn't seem to do so well.
The video was filmed during what we all THOUGHT was the last few minutes to an hour of the Agent Venom PVP season. A season fraught with what people considered the most hacks ever and possibly some of the worst bugs. It seems Deadpool with his Lifepool giving eISO was resurrecting and going into a frenzy mode like Sabertooth. Shortly before everybody was finally going to relax and reap their rewards, Playdumb decides to renew the season for 7 more days. At first nobody was really sure what was going on considering not everybody showed the 7 days on their button. Eventually as clients were forced to refresh, it became clear we now have another week of PVP. This is bad for most people who burned a lot of PVP turns trying to stay on top of the inevitable last day crush. For some like me who set themselves up to stay afloat where they were, it's actually not horrible. Yes it's another week but it's 7 days of 5CP per day plus with so many people frustrated and dropping out, there might be less AFK defenses. I might even claw my way up to Agent Venom instead of being down at Vibranium.
While I put in probably more time to this season than any other prior, it was both and good and bad season. I used several teams to go through the ranks but the frustration of seeing so many cookie cutter teams was incredible. I was so sick of Cube+Mystic everywhere and a lack of originality in teams. The defense losses were not horrible as I managed to cover any losses during my attacks. We'll see what PD has in mind to make up for the week.
