Marvel Avengers Alliance-Item Spotlight-Crooked Branch
2In this MAA video, I highlight a new item from the current Nico spec ops. It's called Crooked Branch and it drops from doing the hero side of mission #3. It's from the random spinner at the end of the mission.
Crooked Branch provides a quick action that helps users of magic and agents with magic gear. It buffs people with a small heal if they use magic and it is supposed to shock people who use tech abilities. For some reason, the tech shock is not going out. As an example, I pair this item with Dr. Doom. He heals off his level 2 abilities but does not get shocked from his level 1s.
While the heal is small, I think if you pair this item with 2 magic users and an agent with magic items (think Mystic, Sinister Scepter, any of the new staves, etc) you've got a fairly powerful combo. If you equip any of those magic users with the sympathy ISO, you get 2 free heals for doing nothing special. This item works well with heroes like Magik, Dr. Doom, Dr. Strange, Dr. Voodoo, Satana, Nico, Spiral, Daimen, and even one ability on Valkryie. Since the item itself is magical, you actually get the heal just from using the item. If using Dr. Doom in PVP, this is a handy item to use.
