Hello snappers. The new April season is upon us for Marvel Snap. This one is being called Animals Assemble. Hitmonkey takes the lead and we also get Cosmo and Goose variants in the battle pass. Hitmonkey gets a boost based on cards you play before it flips on that turn. it does NOT like token cards as tokens aren't "played" but it DOES like Mysterio as his clones are played. He's cheap but is better suited to be a late game card that can have lots of cards flip before him. Sandman is largely one of his largest counters or Vipering over an Electro. He has use with Mister Negative and could stand to have Forge flip right before him. Other cards like Jeff the Land Shark will be coming that will ignore lane restrictions. Could be fun to sneak him into a Spider-Man, Storm or Prof-X lane.

I don't know if Hitman will be SUPER meta but people are having fun with him and "bounce" style decks using Beast, Falcon and potentially Sera might set him up for a big round 6 if your play isn't sniffed out.
