Whelp...to the surprise of very little, Blizzard has canceled the big PVE mode that was promised for Overwatch 2. So back when OW1 was going to become OW2, Blizzard hollered that the reason for the "upgrade" was that OW2 was going to feature a large PVE mode that would include talent trees. It would be similar to games like Gigantic, Battleborn and more. You were going to retain the QP and competitive elements but then also have a PVE mode where you could set your talents similar to Marvel Heroes. Wellllllll, not anymore. Perhaps due to the return to the office policy, perhaps not, Blizzard has sent this mode to the Google Graveyard. OW fans are now VERY upset because this was the big selling point in why OW1 was going away. Will I still be playing OW2? Yes. I'm quite addicted to it at the moment even over WoW. OW2 is literally dusting my desire to play WoW. Do I agree the fans should be rioting in the streets? Yes. I support it 100%
