This is a play-through using 2nd Form Onslaught in the Arcade version of Marvel vs. Capcom. Read on below for more information...

Onslaught is the last boss in the game, and comes in two forms. He is an unplayable character in this version of the game.

In this video, I have placed the emphasis on his 2nd Form for all matches.

Onslaught always starts matches in his 1st Form, so in order to play as his 2nd Form, you must lose his 1st Form. Then he'll transform into his 2nd Form. I have also locked the background to Onslaught's one, because he can only switch to his 2nd Form on this background only.

===== About 2nd Form Onslaught =====
Powerful Marvel comic villain who I believe is a combination of Magneto and Professor X through some kind of manifestation. I do not have much knowledge of Marvel stuff, but I imagine this guy is evil.

The Arcade version of 2nd Form Onslaught is very different to the console versions of him (DC and PS1). For a start, all of his move commands are executed differently and he does not need any super gauge levels to perform his Triple/Quadruple Laser Blasts.

Therefore, this makes the Arcade version of Onslaught the best version of him to play as.

===== Additional Information =====

--- He has an Intro Rocks move. This is basically his 2nd Form intro when he rises up from behind the ground (after you defeat his 1st form). The rocks do not hit and does not affect the opponent in any way.

--- When playing as him, the basic LP, MP, HP and LK buttons do not nothing.

--- The Sentinel Bombs come out every time you press MK. This means that you can do it repeatedly to spam the screen with them.

--- The Intro Rocks move is performed every time you press HK. This means that you can do it repeatedly to spam the screen with them.

--- When you defeat one of the opponent's characters, the music will stop and from then on there will be no music when their 2nd character comes in.

---- If you play though single-player and get to CPU Onslaught with him, CPU Onslaught's colour palette is semi-flawed for certain movements. This is because the game registers both 1P and 2P as Onslaught, so it allocates a "2nd palette" for the other Onslaught. Obviously because a proper 2nd palette wasn't made for him, it results in flawed colours.

---- When fighting against CPU Onslaught at the end, if the CPU defeats you then both Onslaughts will get stunned. You will transform into 2nd Onslaught, but the CPU Onslaught will be stuck in a stunned/stance animation and cannot be hit. The game cannot progress from here unless you use further alternate methods.

---- When you "complete" the game with him (using a trick) you get a picture of the roster, which is the same one used at the end of the game's intro. There is also a message at the bottom which says "MARVEL VS CAPCOM COMING SOON". This appears to be an image for an early beta testing version of the game.

---- When playing as 1st Form Onslaught on any other background besides his own one, he cannot transform into his 2nd Form if he loses his 1st Form.

---- Unlike the PS1 and DC versions of him, when you move forward or backward and stop with Onslaught, he stops immediately. In the console versions he floats forward/backward slightly after stopping from moving.

==== About Marvel vs. Capcom 1 =====
MvC1 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games... I probably like it more than MvC2. It really was the game that showed how good crossovers from multiple franchises can be. The Special Partner feature is a cool idea as it added some uniqueness to the main gameplay and allowed us to see what other characters from other franchises and other Marvel characters looked like under Capcom's Vs series artistry. The soundtrack is decent as well. I really wish Ryu had his personal theme rather than the SF2 Title theme...
