This boss is the tale of two encounters. When it comes to encountering him throughout the dungeon this thing is a freaking teddy bear compared to the Nightmare of Eiserne prison seriously I only encountered him once in the entire dungeon and that was when I intentionally triggered him.

HOWEVER, when it comes to the actual fight prepare Uranus because this fight is essentially Hansel on Crack with the ability to inflict status effects on the entire party in a single turn.

Status defense is important he will always open with an attack to inflict sleep on the entire party. When it comes to magic damage his only attack is a tornado that'll do about 75 damage to the entire party. MUCH more dangerous is the fact he can double attack the entire party and it can not be blocked. Your fragile party members are gonna be dropping like flies so if Thumbelina goes Blood Skelter it may actually be better to just leave her in it if you don't have the ability to cure it safely. He has a chant skill but surprisingly it isn't a spell... instead he picks a party member, rushes the sceen, and sends your ass to Brazil.

Anyways like most nightmares you can choose what party you want to tackle it with. Fire damage is helpful but I'd advise against using Jack and Mary's party because they have another boss immediately following this one.
