Previously I had been using the Mantis, which is why I specced my ammo powers for more spare ammo instead of headshot damage.
I am using Fortification to increase Ammo Power damage and damage reduction. It is possible to one-shot shielded enemies with the Kishock using Disruptor Ammo since the Kischock deals some of its damage up front and the rest as damage over time. Not sure if you need Fortification active or not to one-shot shielded enemies. If you do not need it, I may consider changing to AP Ammo for increased armor damage up front instead of Incendiary Ammo damage over time, but then I would lose the ability to detonate fire explosions.
