I will be beginning a guide very soon for Mass Effect. It will be by no means a 100% walkthrough, unfortunately. The game is so expansive that it would take about 40 hours of raw footage at the very least to show this game. Instead, I will do a few things:

A. I will demonstrate a high Paragon character.
B. I will provide the main story and most Citadel side stories.
C. I will demonstrate the capabilities of a Perfect Shepard Infilitrator build. Perfect Shepard is an ideal developed where your character has reached the following goals: Level 60 (max level), best equipment, extra ability, max Intimidate/Charm skill.
D. This character was my original Shepard design. My Perfect Shepard will have the exact same look and class abilities, albeit the difficulty will be on INSANE rather than HARDCORE. He will also have on extra ability: Lift, as he will be rebuilt following me beating the game with a biotic user to access Lift.

Of note, the hardest difficulty in this game can ONLY be unlocked after beating the game twice. One run unlocks Hardcore, and one run of Hardcore unlocks Insane. My first play with this character, I had only minor difficulties for the first few missions on the hardest available difficulty. As such, for those of you hoping to get a continuation character for Mass Effect, setting your difficulty to Easy should allow you to beat the game without ever breaking a sweat.

I will strive to provide as much of the back-story as possible. However, I will not be actively completing the Codex or opening locked chests and boxes.

Feel free to use my video guide as a tour of what is to come. Depending on your base class, you may have different tactics, but the enemy layout should usually be the same.

One word of caution, however. Perfect Shepard, unlike the first Shepard you make, will be able to Charm or Intimidate. This ability comes with time, as you need to earn Paragon and Renegade to unlock the abilities. As such, whereas I may simply avoid a fight by using one of these abilities, you may have an extra two or three enemies to kill, or have a situation go askew entirely. If you want to have the best outlook, you will need several playthroughs of the game to Charm everyone safely.
