The 'dry run' as I've called it, involved starting a new character from scratch for Insanity. No pre-Insanity levelling. Sniper Rifle is the bonus skill.

I probably don't need to mention the 'dry run' bit any more - at this point Shep is level 55 and has every skill that's worth getting, although in this playthrough Shep still hasn't got the best light armor yet, she's still a lot of fun.

This video (and the last few) are more for the sake of completion than proving anything about being able to do it. At 55, most of the game is ridiculously easy. Even Barrier's cooldown is shorter than its active duration. So, starting out, you have the choice of importing a Shepard that has already beaten the game or starting fresh - and this whole play on Insanity is from starting fresh.
