In this chapter, Commander Shepard takes some more time out to bond with his little team, "deepening" his relationship with Dr. Liara T'Soni and Chief Ashley Williams, in particular, to the point at which the formation of a romantic triangle seems almost imminent. He also learns some interesting facts from the personal histories of Garrus and Wrex, which leads to two mini-quests that help both of his alien friends to close some of their own history pages and gain even more respect for the Commander ("Find Dr. Saleon" and "Family Armor"). In addition, the Commander investigates the sad fate of Admiral Kahoku's recon team ("Missing Marines"), meeting his first Thresher Maw in the process; fulfills Nassana Dantius' request to find her abducted sister, with fairly surprising results ("Asari Diplomacy"); and rescues a clueless politician from the hands of a band of desperate biotic terrorists ("UNC: Hostage") - all in a day's work!
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
