In this chapter, Commander Shepard and his squadmates reach the faraway, snow-covered Peak 15 on Noveria, where they quickly discover the real nature of the "accident": an unprecedented breakout of huge numbers of mysterious biological specimens, wreaking havoc all over the place. Much to the Commander's astonishment, the fierce acid-spewing creatures turn out to be Rachni, hatched from a lone egg on a derelict ship - and, as it turns out, their Queen might just be in possession of genetically inherited information about the Conduit that Saren and Benezia are in dire need of. Upon finally confronting the Matriarch directly, Shepard wrestles the truth from Liara's repentant mother before having to put her down for good... but now the important question is whether to send the terrifying Rachni Queen right after Benezia, or take the risk and let her - the very last remaining member of her species - loose to roam the Galaxy once more?
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
