1In the last part of Episode 1, Guybrush Threepwood completes the task of liberating the winds of Flotsam Island, foiling the sinister plans of the Marquis De Singe to continue trapping his potential "patients" for his gruesome experiments. With the winds finally free, he orders Van Winslow to put The Screaming Narwhal to water and set sail for the Rock of Gelato... though not before tricking his own pox-stricken hand into submission with the help of a well-placed barrel of tar. As he finally nears his destination, though, it turns out that his hand is not the only living thing that plans to prevent him from reuniting with Elaine and freeing her from the clutches of the now-human LeChuck...
