In the distant future, mankind discovered a means to kick science in the balls and achieve faster-than-light travel. But when they finally got around to exploring the rest of the Milky Way Galaxy, they found that a bunch of other alien species beat 'em to the punch... but you know humans, right? That wasn't gonna stop us from strutting around like we're the hottest thing this side of the asteroid belt.
