Description:
I know playing one of Starmage's earliest games is going to embarrass her due to the lack of polish, but BlueSkies is a series of games and that means I need to play the first one to understand the others.
In the world of Vyen, the pacifistic healer Skye must gather allies in order to defend Vyen from a mysterious threat, the Dark Riders, and he'll have the blessing of Vyena to help him accomplish this task. Can he pull this off without access to the attack command?

Once we reach Dahlia Bridge, a single mutant officer wipes out our entire squad. Nimir seems to be trying to deescalate things, but Ketero won't listen.

Skye's old party teams up with Rheyl in an attempt to escape. This segment of the game is really tough on resources because you have no healer. You have to activate the switches on the second and third floor.
The chest in the basement is a mimic.

Turns out Dr. Silver turned Tina into a lamia mutant, and Tina reveals she had a grudge against Melyra for looking down on her.

She can silence you and drain MP, but poison works.

As Caven, you have to look for a chest in the library that hints at someone who was around during his childbirth. Then you have to talk to the king and queen in their room. Yes, Caven and Skye were switched at birth, and the now deceased Esthelle is Caven's biological mother.
On the balcony, Bethe explains that Queen Krystalle is a Celestial who can hide her powers, but Skye wouldn't be able to do the same, so the switching at birth was necessary to protect him from Xmeil's inspections. Nimir isn't truly loyal to Gwir and is only spying on him for the sake of the Celestials.

Skye talks to Divina in a more desolate-looking location. I guess it's to reflect his mental state.

Skye wakes up and learns the truth, and so does the rest of the Gemeid continent.
The three party members will reunite and a bunch of side content will open up that you should definitely complete before heading to Xmeil.

The priest here will give Skye a basic offensive spell. I guess Skye has finally decided that the Power of Love is insufficient, which is why he needs the Power of Incredible Violence.

There are enemy soldiers roaming around, but they're beatable this time. In the mayor's office, you have to answer a quiz to get the boss monster to give you an item and leave without a fight.

There's a new chest with the necklace. There's also an NPC who takes you to a summon fight.
