Master Chief Is the Final Smash Bros Ultimate Character
In today's daily gaming news, we talk about a number of gaming topics:
It seems like the Master Chief will finally make his debut on a Nintendo system: The internet is convinced that the Master Chief is joining Super Smash Bros and that the announcement will be made at the Nintendo Direct today.
Nintendo looks to have a packed showcase anyway since it is also expected that they will reveal their new Switch controller, for which they filed paperwork a week ago. If you want to watch the Nintendo Direct, be sure to tune in at 6pm ET / 3pm PT. You can watch it directly on Nintendo's YouTube page.
In other news, Microsoft is rumored to be lining up another major acquisition: It is said that they are looking to purchase another huge game publisher, which would be their second acquisition this year after buying Bethesda for nearly $8 billion.
Fans of the Long Dark can be happy, because the fourth story chapter was announced to be released on October 6. Fury, Then Silence looks to ad 10 hours of gameplay to the game.
Another exciting piece of gaming news is Sable: The game was released today and it takes heavy cues from the Moebius art style. Sable is a unique game that we definitely recommend checking out.
