Master Grade (MG) Sinanju 1/100 Scale Model Kit (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn) Finished Build & Review
5A look at the Master Grade Sinanju by Bandai and everything I did to it. This was my first ever Gunpla but with how good the Sinanju is it certainly won't be my last! I plan on building many more Master Grades in the future and maybe even some Perfect Grades, but the MG Unicorn is definitely next up, I just hope I can find enough display space for all this new gunpla! I already don't have enough for my Star Trek kits etc let alone gunpla! :/
I painted it to look like the Titanium Finish version that you can buy where Bandai plates the plastic and stuff to look all kewl, but I Also painted quite a bit of extra little details and just had a lot of fun building it. It was so nice to actually finish a model kit in a reasonable time too unlike normal, I mean I still haven't finished my Enterprise-E and I've been doing that for like 5 years! It was really fun seeing how the Sinanju went together and seeing what details of the full inner frame would show through when finished and what ones I could paint to make slightly more noticeable. I thought about doing a WIP (Work in Progress) of it but I didn't think there was enough to really show or say about it but now that I've got it finished I think there actually would have been and a WIP maybe would have been a good idea.
The paints I used are:
Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf, Tamiya TS-74 Clear Red, Tamiya X-12 Acrylic Gold Leaf, Tamiya X-11 Acrylic Chrome Silver, Tamiya X-10 Acrylic Gunmetal as well as a tiny amount of Tamiya XF-1 Acrylic Flat Black
The Sinanju is the prototype Mobile Suit originally called Sinanju Stein that was stolen by Full Frontal (I know, the innuendo writes itself!) who has been called the second coming of Char in the OVA anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn and the foil to the Unicorn Gundam.
