Knowing your elementals is a big part of the endgame - so here we'll see just how useful it is and discuss some ways of building up an elemental set for yourself.
Gearscore generally DOES NOT matter AS LONG AS you're making a sensible, element-appropriate swap.
For armour, CORRECT element is better than NEUTRAL element is better than INCORRECT element.
Disclaimer: Building up a good elemental set takes a LOT of time and patience (especially if you're F2P) and is not a task for the easily discouraged. BUT IT'S SO WORTH IT.
