0Matthew Perry who is currently promoting his new memoir, Friends, Lovers and The Big Terrible Thing opened up about his near death experience.
His heart stopped for five minutes as a result of a number of different drugs that were given to him. The Friends actor also claimed that a member of medical staff truly didn’t want him to die and performed CPR for 5 straight minutes. Despite the fact that he saved his life, he cracked eight of his ribs. He saved his life, but eight of his ribs were shattered. He was required to spend time in a treatment centre in Switzerland while the movie was being filmed, so he had to leave his part in the A-list Netflix film Don't Look Up.
