Jimmy Kimmel to Host 95th Oscars
2Jimmy Kimmel is returning to the Oscars, and this time, the whole family will be there!
On March 12, 2023, the 54-year-old talk show host, who presided over the telecast in 2017 and 2018, will deliver the 95th Academy Awards.
Along with showrunners Glenn Weiss and Richy Kirshner, executive producer and co-head writer of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Molly McNearney will executive produce the awards event.
"Being invited to host the Oscars for a third time is either a great honor or a trap," Kimmel said in a news release Monday. "Either way, I am grateful to the Academy for asking me so quickly after everyone good said no."
Weiss and Kirshner express their delight at Kimmel's return. The Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood will host the broadcast.
"We're super thrilled to have Jimmy score his hat trick on this global stage," they said. "We know he will be funny and ready for anything!"
