A Spider-Man only playthrough with no superhero help, no Venom, and includes beating that really difficult scripted death fight against the 4 fat guys.

My definition of no superhero help is I never use the superhero icons. The only exception to this is the first time Dagger and Cloak appear, but this is a scripted event done by the game, and there is no way around it. I show this by defeating the last 4 fat guys. After defeating them, another 4 show up, but the game automatically knocks out Spider-Man, and the cutscene triggers and sets up the next stage. Look how much health Lyndon has. It's really ridiculous.

I discovered that by defeating those 4 fat guys, it makes the A.I. cpu even more aggressive than before in the later stages. It is very noticeable in the prisoners in the police station stage, the final Doppleganger fight, and the Carnage fights. In other words, by defeating those 4 fat guys in that scripted death fight, the game gets even harder if it wasn't hard enough already. =(

Someone has told me about ranking, which means a game's difficulty goes up the longer you progress in the game without dying. So, apparently, Maximum Carnage has ranking, which is most evident after you beat the 4 fat guys. You are suppose to lose that fight, so if you don't die, the game's difficulty really increases to the point of unfairness.

This recording looks a lot better than my last video and doesn't have the disappearance of sprites (you can see the flickering). This was played on emulator. No cheats. No save states. No tool-assists.

I revised a lot of my old strats to come up with more efficient ones. I still give credit to Funkdoc and Vega4993 for the strats on Carnage and Demogoblin.

I believe I died about 12 times in my last video. I died 6 times in this one, so it's an improvement.
