By investing in the future I manage to make so much money that by the time I fight the bosses I can buy all the weapon upgrades. This gives me so much damage that I don't even have to try. Normally these would be very difficult encounters. I definitely got lucky with powerups, as I was able to harvest weeds quickly and for profit which meant I could just use those for lots of money. When I did venture out beyond my farm I would have upgraded weapons so I could explore much faster and take all the loot. Too bad I ran out of upgrades..
