The A1 was a design aimed squarely at fire support and little else. It's focus entirely on it's dual LRM 15's means it needs constant support from nearby friendlies. However the unit does have more LRM ammo than the more common C1 variant to compensate.

In MWO the A1 is a perfect splat boat or LRM spammer. Sometimes a mix works best since you have six missile hardpoints to use. I recommend it for people who are used to running the other Catapult builds first.
