Medal of Honor Allied Assault M06 Return to Schmerzen E05 The Communications Blackout
Welcome to Gus McDoll (Strategy & Tactics), and thank you to our subscribers!
In this video we continue the Medal of Honor Allied Assault series, with Mission 6: The Return to Fort Schmerzen. A fellow operative, Lt. James Patterson, previously destroyed the enemy’s plans for mustard gas production at a secret facility along the Siegfried Line, a place called Fort Schmerzen. Unfortunately, new intelligence suggests that Schmerzen’s commander, one Colonel Muller, has somehow restored the Fort to operation. The OSS has received reports of trains headed towards the Fort, hauling prisoners of war from the Hurtgen Forest. Whatever is going on inside Schmerzen, Lt. Powell must wipe this facility off the map once and for all.
In Episode 5: The Communications Blackout, Lt. Powell is entering a town that is home to the last train station along the railway before Fort Schmerzen. Most communications in the region are routed through a radio command post. These lines of communication must be cut before he can move in on Schmerzen.
The town is well occupied by a garrison of skilled winter troops, and dotted with security posts equipped with an alarm system. Once the alarm is tripped by a guard, troops will be sent out to investigate. Lt. Powell must get past the defences and plant explosives in the radio command post. Once the post is destroyed, Schmerzen will be cut off from the outside world, and Lt. Powell must get to the rendezvous point at the train station.
As the game has a rich audio experience for you to enjoy, we have not added a commentary or voice-over to the video.
