From developer EA Los Angeles. This was the first of four Medal of Honor titles for the PS2, each simulating battles and conflicts set during the second World War. Frontline is everything you'd want from a linear WWII-based shooter, opening with the player riding in a Higgins Boat just off the beach at Normandy, and eventually leading the player into France and Germany, challenging the player with balancing ammo and health against waves and waves of Nazi soldiers. There are no goofy squad mechanics, just solid linear first-person-shooting.
