Mega Man ventures into the third stage of Proto Man's fortress. Inside he must hitch a ride on a peculier platform that snakes its way though th sky similar to the ones found in the castles of Super Mario World. The boss of this stage also features a unique weapon which freezes Mega Man in place whenever he is hit by the glowing rings.
