There may be a slight sound delay in this video (YouTube error), but unless you pay attention to Mega Man's landing sound, it'll be hard to notice.

This compilation was done to show how each level is done under the conditions of no (new) damage and minimum weapon energy usage. The latter means that you'll only see Concrete Shot and Laser Trident in the two laser fence levels; everything else is Mega Buster only.

Individual room notes

Blue/red BG (Laser Fence) - The two Tridents for the Shield Attacker at the end are the only unnecessary usage of special weapons in the compilation. If you take the top path, you must use them or something else aside from the buster to avoid damage. Bare minimum would require taking the bottom path, which by force of habit, I avoided. With Laser Trident being so plentiful anyway, I see no reason not to spare the expense for safety. It's only one line of energy. :\

Lava/green BG (Underwater) - When the jump rollers catch up at the end of the lava part, there's a chance one will jump into you before you can escape. If you manage to make it a couple thousand screens one day, keep this in mind and use either Plug Ball or Jewel Satellite prior to or at this point respectively. For any point before then, unless you're near death, just risk it; they only do three damage.

Disappearing blocks - Okay, the sound delay does make this a little less helpful. That slight delay between sounds should come just before each new block appears, not at the same time as the block.
