Do note that the detection on the upper back part of the crane, namely the wires, is picky. If you land between the wires, you'll just slide back down. You need to land right on one of those three wires leading to the crane's top, colliding with the invisible wall to line up the landing before you leap over said obstacle and make the walk toward the door.
