So we've reached one of the big bonuses from having a GBA game in your DS. By having a copy of Battle Network 5 that includes the Bass icon on the title, you can use Bass Cross. Anyway, Regal's plans seem to be entering the final stage. One only wonders what he could have in store, but know, it is apparently very evil.

Meanwhile, looks like Lan's friends have figured out that we're part of that navi team that's been liberating the net. They're not gonna get involved, but they're a little upset we kept it a secret. But you know who is gonna get involved? Our new party member as each version has someone different. Team ProtoMan has a new girl in town, named Jasmine. Who wants to know how to get to the Undernet to find this medicine book so she can cure her grandfather. Team Colonel has Ribitta, the news reporter from BN2. She wants to do a big report on the Undernet before another newscaster does. Lan says no to both, so they plan to find their own way. Then, Chaud/Baryl calls us in to talk about the Hikari Report, something ol' Grandpa Tadashi was working on. And the VisionBurst, that thing in ACDC Area 3 that leads to ACDC Town, is linked to it. And that dog we met, Gow, might also be a part of it. But when we get to the VisionBurst, Gow is gone. So now we have to look around for clues involving Gow.

But in the process, we come across a familiar face. Bass shows up and he's not digging the fact that we're jacking his look. But after a quick battle, he backs off for now, but he says he'll be back.

After that, we get another PastKey from the remains of Grandpa's Navi. This leads us to a VisionBurst in one of the DrillComps, which is of Oran Isle. After looking around, we find Gow and rescue him from a Nebula navi, but then he runs off. After searching for him, he ends up caught by another Nebula navi: BlizzardMan. He's back and he's nabbed Gow, and he manages to run away before we can do anything. And just to make matters worse, Scilab's Home Page is being attacked. This attack is being led by ShadeMan. Seems like all the Darkloids are coming back to life. After dealing with the Nebula forces, Chaud wants to talk to Lan.
