Time for Lan's first day at his new school. And it's already off to a rocky start as he gets ambushed by security bots for not having a Student ID yet. But after some quick interference from his new teacher, Mr. Mach, we get our ID and meet our new class. One person of interest is the one sitting right in front of us, Mick, who seems to be a pit of a punk, and also a troublemaker, as he and his navi mess with the virus box to spawn a stronger virus. But it's still an early game enemy, so it's easily taken care of. After his prank gone wrong, Mick and his navi have a disagreement and part ways. Then, a new navi named Blast Man makes his way into Mick's PET and comes up with a new plan to cause some trouble.

Next, we get introduced to CopyBots, which allow navis to inhabit them and let's them walk around in the real world. So for the first time in the series, Mega Man and Lan can walk side-by-side. But the good times don't last long as Mick's prank goes into action as the security bots start to go berserk. They knock out Mr. Mach and start spewing flames, but thanks to Mega Man in the CopyBot, the fire is taken care of. We go to the Teachers' Lounge to try and turn them off, but it seems Blast Man isn't listening to Mick and is making things much worse. So now, we have to take care of him ourselves. __
