We've reached the penultimate stage, and as per tradition, this brings us the boss rush. But this one can be extended depending on what you do. If you didn't rescue all the captured Robot Masters earlier, you would end up fighting them here. But since we did, we only find minor enemies trying to fill their role. But during the boss rush, you are swapping back and forth between Mega Man and Roll after each boss. And remember, each character has their own health bar and weapon energy. Now, if you didn't save Proto Man, you would end up fighting him after taking care of the main 8 bosses. But since we did, we skip that fight and we head straight to the final stage. The last character you used ends up being captured, and we gotta go save them from Wily.
