Technically, some damage is required to complete this stage, although the only damage taken was during the intentionally-impossible Vile Carrier fight, meaning this walkthrough is still damage-free :) The stage itself does not present any major problems. Storm Tornado is excellent for clearing enemies.

For the Vile fight (the one that actually matters), Rolling Shield will score the most damage. Vile takes damage much more quickly than most bosses (i.e., fewer invincibility frames. Poor Vile!). Note, however, that Vile moves pretty quickly, and you'll need to stay mobile. As for Boomer Kuwanger, Homing Torpedoes make the fight a complete walk in the park. Again, keeping mobile is your best option.

As for the Maverick Spider, this is indeed a tougher fight. It requires some quick reflexes; the Spider MUST cross every green pathway that it comes to, meaning that when the pathways first appear, you should be able to trace out the path it must follow, or at the very least you can eliminate a possibility or two before it starts moving (so you can find a safe standing place). Finally, be prepared to dash over and fire Shotgun Ice (charged is ideal) when the Spider exposes its weak point briefly. If the Spider launches mini-spiders, use dashing wall-jumps to dodge around them.
