This next playthrough has been way too long overdue. The first Mega Man X was one of my very first playthroughs on this channel, and I've been meaning to do at least the next two SNES games as well.
Mega Man X2 follows the same basic formula as the first game, with a few additions, with a couple of new upgrades and three bonus bosses in the form of the X Hunters. Beating them will get you three parts to rebuild Zero and bypass one of the final boss fights. And just like in Mega Man X, getting all of the items will allow you access to to a special upgrade taken out of Street Fighter, another of Capcom's flagship franchises. And that's what I'm aiming for in this series.

Part 1 covers the Intro Stage and Wheel Gator.
