A simple playthrough of Mega Man X5 featuring Axle the Red (Spike Rosered in Japan). The mission here is to get the Orbiter Engine to be used in the space shuttle mission. The hazards of this stage includes some well-placed spikes as well as bottomless pits. With either the Falcon or Gaea Armor one can breeze through their respective hazards. Gaea Armor can destroy those v-labeled black boxes and access a secret area where a heart container is located. Using the Falcon Armor can let X access the Gaea Armor part located way up in the bottomless pit area.

Whether you have Axle's weaknesses (Ground Fire and Quake Blazer) or not, you can easily beat the boss. Defeating him will give X the Spike Ball weapon while Zero will learn the Twin Dream command art.
