Mega Man X6 - Beating Zero Nightmare with Guard Shell
8Falcon Armor used to have more energy for the Guard Shell without having to obtain Energy Ups or raise the boss level to Lv.02 by gaining Rank A to equip Energy Saver.
Guard Shell can reflect Zero Nightmare's buster shots, Shin Messenkou and even Genmu Zero Kai. While this might come off as an overly gimmicky way to handle the fight, the contrast that having to stay close to not have your reflected shots blocked causes with having to run away from every other attack makes this incredibly interesting.
The Guard Shell will be bypassed by buster shots/Shin Messenkou if you're too close, but you also can't be too far away as reflected shots travel slowly, making them easily blockable by his slashes or teleports. Not having much weapon energy means that you'll have to try and be efficient, which means you'll have to risk more, making it easier to get tricked by him in the process.
Additionally, his unpredictable behavior stands out here - as he can just as often follow a slash with a Buster&Saber Attack as he can instead choose to ram you by dashing, or perhaps do a dash twice in a row and teleport, or just ram/slash you instead for the fun of it. Rather intense...
