Mega Man X6 No Damage (Zero): Intro Stage [Xtreme]
Project: Mega Man X6, where I'm taking No Damage with Zero on Xtreme Mode. Note that parts will be used once they're acquired, so this isn't a minimalistic run or anything. Either way, whether you like X6 or not, hopefully you'll find enjoyment from this run. Thanks for dropping by.
Here's the intro stage, being played as Zero via a code provided to me from a good guy from gamehacking.org. If you want the code, I'll have it below at the end of the description. Just realize that this code crashes the game once High Max disappears from the screen after his short battle. As such, if you still want the "full" Zero experience, simply reload the game without this cheat, then after you clear the intro stage with X, enter another code I'll provide below to start off with first Maverick as Zero (and all the armors). Beware that if you enter this code, you'll disable Nightmare Zero from appearing as a boss for that save file. Obviously, there's a way to fight him as Zero, but I don't have the codes nor info to make it possible, so your best bet is to ask someone else.
Either way, I have nothing in particular to say about this stage. It's the intro stage, which is usually always the easiest stage that warms you up to the game.... but hooooooo boy, does this intro stage do a terrible job at showing you just how broken this game really is. It's quite misleading, really. Still, despite the many flawed design choices, X6 is still one of my favorite X games to play (X4, X1 and X3 holding the top three spot for me). Let's go through this nightmare (pun intended)...
By the way, I opted out for using the text box commentary this time. Not only are the black borders for the PSX games too small to fit a box where the text won't be spaced out to one or two words per line, but I'd have WAY too much stuff to talk about in the stages because of the aforementioned flaws, so... I'll spare you. Just ask questions if you want.

Parts used (once they're acquired later in the run):
-Saber Plus
-Hyper Dash
-Master Saber
-Jumper
-Powerdrive
To explain what the ending difficulty analysis means:
Enemies - My ranking from a scale of 1 to 10 (from easiest to hardest respectively) on how difficult the enemies in a stage are. (NOTE: For this Boss Rush at the end of the run, I'll count the Maverick re-fights as enemies).
Platforming - Ranking for how platforming in a stage (i.e. Stage Hazards, Obstacles, etc.) affects the difficulty score.
Boss - Self-Explanatory.
The Overall Ranking's determined by averaging all three categories instead of just adding the numbers together. There's an exception to this, however. If any category warrants a 10/10, the overall score will raise to 10. This is because if at any point a stage puts me in the mindset that it feels like a 10, then the whole stage will be treated with the same difficulty overall because it isn't a very easy experience overall.
