This is one of the easier fights in the game. The key here is to not stay on the same platform as him. If you're tag-teaming, you can deal damage more quickly with Zero at various points if you jump to the same area as him and slash him up; just look for points where he pauses.\n\nYou can hit Stonekong with bullets when he's hanging from the center part, but you can only target his shield. The key is to target the shield so that Stonekong is directly in your line of fire, but it's kinda difficult to do.\n\nWhen the two rock-halves are going to trap you over fire, use Axl's hover or Zero's double jump before they explode so you don't fall in.
