Huge boulders will start rolling once you approach them, so keep hitting them to break them. Some paths are blocked by green tins forming steel walls, so aim for the green tin to clear the path. Descend at a section with boulders and you’ll reach the checkpoint. Some boulders fall from above, so focus your timing to jump to the next landing. A needle hatchet will launch needles. As you ascend on the slopes, watch for boulders rolling downhill. Once you reach the next checkpoint, board a muscular ride. Hover for a little bit and dismount when you see a high edge with a heart that gives a life gauge upgrade. Board another muscular ride and turn left while crossing spike pits. Take out some muscular launchers and use the Lightning to remove blocks in the path. Enter a capsule to give Zero the most powerful technique that will cost a huge amount of energy. Continue your way through the cave and reach the next checkpoint. Further ahead, a sea of lava will flow, so cling the walls at higher ground until the flow dissipates. Enter the doors and you’ll take on Tunnel Rhino. Tunnel Rhino will charge from one wall to the other. X using the Bomb Bee or Zero using the Earth Gaizer have an advantage. Defeat this boss and you’ll receive the Tornado Fang for X or Drill Crusher for Zero.
