First, you’ll encounter some bats and walker cannons. Be careful of sparks moving on the floor and walls as well. Ascend by the water dams and you’ll encounter spiked balls along with wall crabs. Continue scaling the walls and go through the opening above to find a capsule, which will grant X the ability to dash in the air. Pass the checkpoint and you’ll see spike pits along with helmets. A stream of water may try to force you back, so wait until it goes out to continue on. Pass the next checkpoint and go through a door. From there on, huge water waves will be electrified, so touching it will result in an instant KO. Just cling the walls at higher ground until the wave is out. Go through the next door and collect a heart to increase your life gauge. Reach the next checkpoint and climb a ladder to find the exterior part. Use the next doors and you’ll battle against Volt Catfish. Volt Catfish will belly flop, create portals that generate electric waves, release waves that turn into shocks moving on the walls, and charge up to release multiple energy balls at once. X using the Ray Claw or Zero using Rising will do more damage. Defeat this boss and you’ll receive the Tri-Thunder weapon for both X and Zero.
