What is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies?
Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is a visual novel adventure game developed and published by Capcom in 2013. The game was originally released on the 3DS, but it received a port for IOS a year later. Taking place about one year after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright has once again returned to the courtroom to prevent innocent people from being thrown into jail.
This time around, the player will take control of three characters: Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes. All three of them have something interesting to add to the mix, and all three of them have fully fleshed out personalities of their own. Together at the Wright Anything Agency, they take on cases that seem practically impossible to win, with the absolute belief that their client is innocent.
Things will certainly be tough, however, as the developers decided to return to form with an "evil" prosecutor. The main opponent of this game is Simon Blackquill, and he is not to be messed with. He's tough, sinister, and he does not mess around. Like every great prosecutor in these games, there's more to him than meets the eye, but just what exactly?
Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is the first game to feature 3D character models, being the first game not to be developed for or ported to the Nintendo DS. This creates a new, smooth, and refreshing atmosphere. But the jump isn't so great that veteran players can't get used to it. Fun, exciting, and full of just as much humor and heart as previous titles, Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is sure to please old fans and newcomers alike.
