I bought some 3,5 inch diskettes and wanted to format them on my Mega65 and then SAVE and LOAD something from it!

Before this, I only explored the MEGA65 demo disk using the out of the box kernal. To get the drive formatting to work (using the HEADER command), it really was required to upgrade the kernal and it fixes so many other things, it's amazing.🍻

So yeah in this Mega 65 episode I'll unbox the disks, test out the disk drive. I mess up when referring to the drive as "external" a lot, mistaking the virtual drive that can read from SD card as the internal and then the actual internal drive I keep referring to as the external drive. It's a mess. So yeah, that's good stuff. I'll try to remember from now on 😅

So many things to tinker with! At least will not get bored anytime soon 😂

Thanks for reading, watching, commenting, subscribing, all that good stuff!
Cheers 🍻
