Do note, it is possible to of course stop Prometheus' pillars when you're meant to hit them with the saber. It can be done two ways actually, by either stabbing the ground really quickly (which requires good timing), or by spin slashing enough (which works for Vent, and requires more precise placement to edge yourself along, but it doesn't have to be perfect). He just decided not to use that attack in this run. They were both pretty aggressive, actually.
And no, no hard mode. I actually find their hard mode versions easier for actually dodging their attacks. Not sure why, maybe because they move TOO slow, so I'm miss-timing everything...
And yes, there's no biometals at the bottom screen. Teleport hacks for the win. If I have to beat this game another time I'mma cry.
