MegaRace (Sega CD) - Zilog and Moto #257
31Some video games are fantastic ideas...but the execution is a bit lacking. This is what I ran into this week, with MegaRace for the Sega CD, a game that checked off all sorts of boxes for things that I like: futuristic, racing, blowing crap up, dark and absurd humor...you get the idea.
Unfortunately, MegaRace ends up being a case of trying to do too much with technology that just wasn't quite there yet, and I don't have a habit of handing out A for effort ratings on the channel. It's an interesting game, to be sure, just not one that I think everyone NEEDS to play.
