A demonstration for both perfect wavedashing and pivot tilts for some of the cast in the 1.03 version of Melee.
1.03 allows for you to swap the C stick for tilts instead of smash attacks allowing for some pretty ridiculous otherwise not practical usage of pivot tilting, specifically pivot up tilting, as well as perform perfect wavedashes much more consistently, thanks to it allowing for fully left or right to be the angle used when performing in 1.03.
All of this was done non TAS with little specific practice beforehand on any of the characters using a completely standard unmodded gamecube controller to show how consistent and how much easier this really is in 1.03.
Do note, the controller I was using is a smash 4 controller and is pretty good at pivoting.
