Player matches from the past week or so. I haven't played online much lately, because tired/busy and near-dead game. The only low ping rooms are either EX players or JP who block me solely because of distance. That country filter wasn't a thing on launch, they added it later. It's the WORST. Oh, and after a sale, there are a few newbies, but I don't want to beat them up. It's not fun. Anyway, I just play Boss Rush alone all the time. The matchmaking server also seems to be highly unstable again. FATE characters feel so OP. Their attack range is super long, it's super easy to string combos with them, their speed and damage are high, etc. I feel dirty playing as Saber.
By the way, the reason I don't like to fight EX ranks is because to get really good at this game you need to prevent the opponent from moving at all. I don't like those one-sided matches, I like to have an equal back-and-forth. It's more fun that way. That's also why I don't like to lock people down.
I haven't fought many strong Marios at all, so I didn't know how to deal with that guy. I think the main opening is the cooldown in-between nuns, or maybe air guard the anti-air.
