A playthrough of Capcom's 1990 arcade shooter, Mercs, as featured in Virgin Interactive's 1999 English/PAL-only four-disc arcade compilation pack for the Sony PlayStation, Capcom Generations.

Played through on the default difficulty setting.

Though it goes without saying, this is quite an improvement over the (albeit fantastic) Sega Genesis port. This is the second game in the Wolf of the Battlefield series, preceeded by Commando and followed up by the 2008 PS3 and Xbox 360 game Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. This title was retroactively named Wolf of the Battlefield 2 to create continuity between the titles, but obviously, in 1999 when this compilation was released, that hadn't happened yet.
